Lancashire Magazine and Looking Gorgeous have come together to present the ultimate girlie night out. Debbie will be on hand to open her Secret Beauty Box where you can ask any question you want to ask and stay anonymous - anything from plastic surgery, hair, beauty and styling tips. Plus a makeover with a professional make up artist using 'Looking Gorgeous' mineral make up and much more. Fantastic raffle in aid of The New Children's Hospital Appeal www.newchildrenshospitalappeal.org.uk who are aiming to raise £20 million to support projects within the new hospital to be opened in Manchester in 2009.

23rd April saw a great night out at Abaya nightclub in Weybridge www.abaya-club.co.uk. Under new management the club is about to undergo a series of refurbishments and to celebrate held a Looking Gorgeous evening. Sipping on champagne and nibbling on canapes the evening had a selection of entertainment all to help guests look and feel gorgeous. Hosted by the beautiful actress Julie Peasgood www.juliepeasgood.com currently the resident sex expert on the Alan Titchmarsh Show, she also brought along copies of her fab new book 'The Greatest Sex Tips in the World'. Celebrity hairdresser Denise MacAdam was on hand to tell everyone about hair (she's got a Royal Warrant and her products are in Tescos - don't know which is more impressive!). Huge thanks to her also for supplying the most amazing prize for our raffle of a huge bag of products.

The nightclub is on two floors and downstairs our Looking Gorgeous exhibitors included Vicki our in-house professional make up artist (and 'can't do without' assistant here at Looking Gorgeous) giving people Looking Gorgeous mineral make up makeovers. Stephanie gave us the full low down on Mannatech's Optimal Skin Care youth-enhancing face creams and Nina Boutique www.ninaboutique.com gave us a great range of discounted designer jeans. Upstairs was an oasis of calm and tranquility with Da'arboth www.okabe.co.uk giving numerology readings, Laura - tarot 07982 923738, Audrey - palm reading, Diana Menzies Smith www.dianatrack2health.com giving tasters of her Indian Head Massage, Bowen Technique and Ayurvedic facials and Catherine Davidson 07786 481194 helping everyone to relax with her pampering holistic massages. Fantastic artist Claire Johnson from Arts of Alchemy www.artsofalchemy.co.uk had an amazing array of her art collection which included paintings, cards and cushions highlighted with recycled materials such as old jewellery, buttons and gems to add a 3D effect to her products.

The lingerie fashion show was a highlight of the evening with three gorgeous girls - Debbie's daughter actress Ciara Janson (who'd rushed to be with us from filming the new audio version of Dr. Who with Peter Davidson) and her best mates Georgie and Lauren. Three gorgeous boys - Alex, Nick and Dan from the rock band Belisha and contributor on our Looking Gorgeous mens page.
